Hawthorn Road, Lache - Damage to health centre window
Bartholomew Way, Westminster Park - Secured garage broken into, nothing stolen
Curzon Park South, Curzon Park - Insecure vehicle accessed, boot covers stolen
Butterbache Road - Youths riding a scooter in an anti social manner - search made by local officers, no trace
Wealstone Lane, Upton - Report of young person riding scooter with no helmet, stopped by local patrol, details taken
Crime Reduction Advice
Across the Chester Outer area in the past few months there have been a number of burglaries and attempted burglaries. It appears that high value vehicles are being targeted, where the offender gains access to a house then looks to steal a handbag, they use keys within the handbag to steal the vehicle. Our advice would be to ensure that handbags are kept out of sight and keys are kept separately in a secure place, not in an obvious place that an offender may target (eg, key rack) In some instances the houses have not been secure, back doors left unlocked, windows left open, it is essential that residents make sure that their homes are secured at all times of day or night, I appreciate that with the hot weather people are keen to ventilate their homes, however offenders see this as an opportunity to gain access, make sure that there is someone in the room when a window or door is left insecure.
Arrests have been made in relation to some of these offences but I would encourage residents to remain vigilant.
A local PCSO has been out delivering advice leaflets to residents in relation to these offences and we are actively looking for offenders.

Chester Outer NPT are pleased to announce that PCSO Jo Pendrey has joined the team, she will be working in Handbridge on the Overleigh team. Jo says I am looking forward to meeting the residents of Handbridge and continuing the good work the Neighbourhood Policing Unit has already provided. Before joining Cheshire Police I lived abroad for 5 years and prior to that I spent 13 years working in administration role
In Blacon a drug warrant was executed in Burton Road, one male was arrested and charged for possession with intent to supply, he is currently on bail.
