Security screws can help prevent vehicle crime

The anti-theft screws are being offered to motorists at St Clare’s School car park, Lache Park, on Tuesday, June 1, at 11.30am to 12.30pm and 2.30pm - 3.30pm.

Dave Owens, West Cheshire’s crime reduction advisor, said: "We have seen number plates being stolen in recent weeks across the area. These number plates are being fitted to other cars which are then used to commit further crime."
