The Cheeses
Caws Cenarth Welsh Brie
A delicate, rich and creamy Welsh Brie.
Crabtree
Another new cheese from Anne Connolly, made to an Alpine recipe, this is fruity, creamy and well rounded with a supple texture.
Bournes Organic Cheshire
A farm-made Cheshire from Mr & Mrs Bourne. A wax covered pasteurised Cheshire. Crumbly and fresh.
Ramhall Ewe
A hard cheese from the West Midlands with a sweet, nutty flavour and a slightly salty tang. A Cheese Shop favourite.
Mrs Kirkham's lancashire
Made on a small farm at Goosnargh, Lancashire from unpasteurised cow’s milk, this cloth-bound and buttered cheese is complex and sharp but creamy in the mouth.
Garstang Blue
A creamy, strong blue made by Dewlay. Excellent for eating with a cracker or using in cooking.
Cheshire Blue
A cloth-bound, creamy and full-flavoured cows-milk cheese with a pronounced blue taste and a strong herbaceous flavour.
These were supplied by the excellent Chester Cheese Shop. The Chester Cheese Shop is in Northgate Street and on the web here
