I would like to start by thanking the Independent Examiner of the Annual Report Tony Travers of Henry R Davis & Co., Accountants, Queensferry for his time in reviewing the annual accounts.

Adverts although reduced by £10 continue at a high level of £115, testimony to the quality & circulation level of the Newsletter.
There is a small surplus on alarms of £5 & some are still available from Brian Westcott at £7 & £5.
A successful quiz night was again held in the Community Centre with the attendance returning to previous levels. This resulted in a surplus of £53 with the draw contributing £97 due to the generosity of both the attendees and the committee members who donated the prizes.
The ‘best kept garden’ competition cost £80 (same as previous year), the prizes being vouchers plus engraving the annual trophy.
Bulb planting was undertaken outside the Westminster Park shops with the cost of £189 being partly offset by a grant of £150 from Chester City Council.
